Abstract：
The study combines of transforming a steel mill in Xi'an into a creative industrial park to probe on a good remolding of the internal space. The study finds that on the premise of meeting the new functional requirements, we could adopt three recasting alternatives: to keep the original structure, to add local space, to reshape the overall space so as to achieve various functions such as for exhibition, performance and meeting, office business, leisure originality, industrial service and artistic creation, and further put forward five matters to note.
