Abstract：
During construction of an underground space in Suzhou, the foundation pit support lattice column passes through the floor slab, so a method setting formwork batten around the lattice column was proposed to successfully avoid extra treatment of residual angle steel ends after lattice column was dismantled by gas cutting. The process of angle steel grinding was not required, effectively shortening the construction schedule.
